About Lostock Hall Preschool

At Lostock Hall Preschool we pride ourselves on making every child feel safe, secure and comfortable, tailoring our support to their individual requirements. We give children the confidence to explore their unique interests and skills, inspiring them to let their personalities shine through.

With a focus on education through play and enjoying the outdoors, we want every child to develop their passions and share in the interests of others in order to enjoy a full social life. 

The Preschool class is for children aged 3-4 years during term time from 9am-3pm and can offer flexible hours ranging from 3-30 hours. As we are a maintained Preschool within Lostock Hall Primary School we can also offer "wraparound Care" in the schools Before and After School club. We benefit from a wide range of activities and classes with the school- for example with our external PE provider, Little Sports Coaching. This helps the children feel part of the school and makes the transition into Reception an easy and enjoyable start to school life!

Payment is covered through the Early Years 15 hours funding. Any extra sessions are charged at £15.60 per three hours and paid through our payment system. Many parents/carers will also qualify for the 30 hours funding. 

A midmorning snack of toast is given and fruit is offered for afternoon snack. Working in partnership with parents, Lostock Hall Preschool aims to provide high quality care and education to help children learn and develop.
